Safety Device
A pedestrian is killed in a traffic crash every 113 minutes and injured every 8 minutes. The average number of pedestrians killed is highest during night due to poor visibility. In this project the goal was to design a product, product line and a product family using smart materials that makes pedestrians visibly safe at night. V-safe increases visibility of people at night with a variety of options to choose from. From products that can be worn for walking and jogging at night to products that can be worn at any time.
