Coffee TABle
From a small town in Ecuador where everything is rough from the streets to the surfaces of the houses; to living in a big city in the United States where almost everything seems perfect from sidewalks to the surfaces of the buildings. In this project a coffee table was designed to represent the interpretations and experiences of both worlds. The interpretation from Ecuador represented as the concrete holding the interpretation of the United States represented as the acrylic top. Designed to be a piece of furniture seen and used everyday as a reminder and tribute to the biggest change in my life; moving to the United States
